Fear is expensive.

The market has been a mess. Headlines rotate between tariff escalations, rate uncertainty, and geopolitical noise. Retail traders park in cash or panic-sell. That’s fine. That’s the spread I have been collecting consistently. I want to share the strategy I keep coming back to when volatility spikes.

Aggressive out-of-the-money cash secured puts on high-conviction names sitting at deep, multi-month support.

The setup works like this. You identify a stock you’d own at a lower price, one with real catalysts and a chart that’s found its floor multiple times. You sell a cash secured put 10–30% below the current price with 1–2 months until expiration. Implied volatility is elevated, which means premiums are fat. You collect that premium upfront.

From there, two outcomes. The stock rebounds toward your strike before expiration and you buy back the put at a profit. Or the stock gets assigned and you own shares at a cost basis below today’s price, with a premium cushion already in your pocket. In that scenario, you didn’t fail. You bought a stock you wanted at a discount and immediately start selling covered calls. The machine keeps running.

This is not passive income. It requires conviction, position sizing discipline, and a real thesis on each name. Done wrong, you end up bag-holding names you never believed in. Done right, you print paychecks while everyone else watches the tape and worries.

Right now, two names I hold high conviction in are sitting at 6-month support with elevated IV and real catalysts ahead. I’m running this exact strategy on both.

We caught $ONDS before it ran +2600%, $LPTH before it ran +440%, and $UMAC before it ran +340%. Subscribe so you don't miss the next one.
