The Gem Vault: Initial Strategy and Position Overview ($10,000)

First of all - Merry Christmas to everyone celebrating! I hope you had a relaxing and peaceful holiday. Over the last week Hidden Gems Research LLC has grown Immensely. We are nearing our 500 subscriber and/or 50 premium subscriber goal which will unlock The Gem Vault meaning its the perfect time to give you an overview of what’s to come.
What is the Gem Vault?
The Gem Vault is a new funded account I’ve created with a starting balance of $10,000 dollars. To start - it will constitute my personal custom index made up of 6 stocks that I think have the cumulative potential to outperform the S&P 500 on a percentage point basis in 2026. I plan to post my entries and exits for all trades within the account for my premium members and will do a weekly review of where the fund is at and any possible changes I see as market sentiment changes. What Stocks and Strategies will be used to Start?
Because we are starting with a limited amount of capital instead of buying shares or using cash secured puts like I’ve discussed in my options guide we will be using another element of the Wave Strategy: Long calls and LEAPS. These strategies will give us more leverage on our limited starting capital, allowing us to potentially grow faster than we would buying normal shares. It also carries more risk as the contracts can expire worthless at expiration so understanding how to de-risk and take profit is key to the strategy.
Here are my intended strikes, premiums, and expirations + the reason why I chose them at those levels. Total implied capital deployed - $9,743.96.
ONDS 0.00%↑ 35% Starting Target: ONDS will be the anchor of our fund. It is my highest conviction stock in the Gem Vault for 2026 and will most likely be used heavily for swing trading. Targeting out of the money calls.
ACHR 0.00%↑ 15% Starting Target: ACHR should be another good one. I took farther out of the money calls and a longer than 1 year expiration date to give it a longer time horizon after its fall from the $14s in 2025.
LPTH 0.00%↑ 15% Starting Target: I went in the money options for LPTH due to the expiration date for options not being farther out. I want a safety net and less exposure to theta decay which in the money options provide.
RR 0.00%↑ 15% Starting Target: I did the same thing I did on LPTH here, in the money calls. The initial premium is more expensive but it gives me a wider moat should the stock not perform as well as I think.
AMPX 0.00%↑ 10% Starting Target: Out of the money calls here, I like AMPX under 13 and think we could see a resurgence after recent support gap ups.
UMAC 0.00%↑ 10% Starting Target: I took deep in the money calls for UMAC. I did this because out of the money calls are too expensive for my taste. The bid/ask spread here is wide so these may not fill but if I take the trade I want value.
