Every Tuesday I hunt for turning points. This week my scan flagged three strategic bottoms and one likely top. Three stocks got pushed into deep oversold territory while the business underneath has stayed strong. One stock ran hard into a ceiling and now looks stretched and is likely due for a pullback. Before the new board let’s take a look at last weeks picks and what broke our 75% winrate.
LAST WEEK’S SCORECARD
We called four bottoms on October 13, 2 days later we saw one of the biggest Stock Market slides in 2026. All four broke their invalidation levels officially snapping our 75% back to back win streak, it happens and that’s ok, we cant win every trade and I believe transparency is more important than the projected fallacy of always being right. That being said, I do believe all 4 of those picks will run hard after midterms as they have strong fundamentals and relevant use cases.
$DRAM never traded back above the call price. Sellers took it through $51.37 on October 14, and it slid to a $46.30 low the next day as investors dumped chip stocks. It bounced 4% on Monday to close at $48.33, too late to matter.
$ASTS took the worst hit. Investors kept selling the SpaceX spectrum threat after Piper Sandler’s downgrade, and the stock fell 10.5% on October 14 to $42.14. It touched $39.87 the next morning before buyers pushed it back to $44.46.
$AVAV kept bleeding. It broke $125.20 and closed Monday at $117.90. Citizens cut its target to $170 from $230 the same day.
$SOFI closed at $14.22 on October 14 after a hot inflation report revived rate fears for lenders. That close triggered our exit. The next day it hit $13.86, reversed and closed at $15.09, a day after our exit fired.
I don’t think these stocks stay beatdown for too long. There are a lot of macro-wide headwinds pulling them down that may see some relieve in early November after midterms. I like all of them here. The Nasdaq posted its worst week since June. We bought four flushes into a market that kept flushing and we’re looking for a bounce back this week!
THIS WEEK’S TAPE
Investors rotated out of tech last week. This week they spread their money across the rest of the market. For most of Tuesday about three of every four S&P 500 stocks traded higher, the broadest participation since June. The S&P 500 closed at 7,712.57, about 1% below its record, while the Nasdaq finished flat. In a broad tape, buyers come back for beaten-down stocks with growing sales. The buyers who chased a stretched stock start taking profits. Each setup has a trigger and an invalidation. We’re looking at energy, fintech, and software this week, lets get into it!
